Melinia Jackson
Hailing from the wonderful city of Houston, Melinia Jackson is a graduate of the world-renowned High School for the Performing and Visual Arts where she was a vocal major. Her musical experiences at HSPVA allowed her to sing for President Clinton at the D-Day celebration in London, England for two weeks. This would not be her last time entertaining the President of the United States.
October and November of 2017 were extremely life changing. In October she had the once in a lifetime opportunity to sing for five of the living Presidents for their collaborative philanthropy effort to raise money for those affected by Hurricane Harvey. She sang for Lyle Lovett, the soulman Sam Moore, Stephanie Quayle, the Gatlin Brothers, Alabama and Grammy Award winner, Yolanda Adams. November proved to be just as exciting when she was asked to sing the National anthem at the nationally syndicated parade celebrating the World Series Champions, the Houston Astros.
Most recently Melinia has lent her voice to accompany American Idol winner, Rueben Studdard, Grammy Award winner, Regina Belle, stars from the show R & B Divas Chantae Moore and Angie Stone, and Houston's own Debra Duncan. Melinia Jackson continues to inspire audiences whether she is singing in the forefront or in the background. Her musical integrity has made her a staple within the industry.
